Built in 1910 by the Anaconda Company for the loggers'
children, the 9 Mile Schoolhouse has since become a beloved destination for
children of all ages.
Since the 1970’s, the 9 Mile Schoolhouse has been an
integral part of the Western Montana Christmas tradition. It brings a smile
to all those who pass through its gates by returning them to a gentler time
and place. |

Youve got a whole house to decorate. Exciting, but daunting at the
same time. Where do you start? Youve seen thousands of ideas and projects on
television and in magazines, but which will work for you? Kurt Cyr, a nationally
recognized interior designer, demonstrates design in context. Kurt has been a
practicing interior designer since 1987. Born in Missoula, Montana, he holds a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Interior Design from the American College of Applied Art, Los Angeles. His
projects have ranged from the private library of a top Hollywood executive to the home of
a well-known television actress.
