| Needing to function as a sometime guest room when the house is teeming with holiday visitors, the sectionals are simply twin mattresses set upon white vinyl bases. The window walls are fitted with floor to ceiling draperies in hearty cotton canvas. The same fabric is used for the mattress covers and bolsters. A bold gesture of red-orange sparks up the room. The fabric’s retro-style pattern is reminiscent of television sets. The kidney-shaped bar, chairs and wedge-shaped ottomans are all vintage rattan. Underfoot is the 1960’s classic – a wool flokati rug. |
